Welcome to the Sideband Archival Website.
Sideband began as a recording project initiated by emerging Australian composers Tristan Coelho, Brad Gill and Peter McNamara in 2012, and soon evolved into a composer-performer collective. The group's mission was to create, present, develop and promote new and innovative repertoire for the collective, particularly incorporating live electronics and multi-media through dynamic recordings and performances.
The covid pandemic adversely affected the collective's ability to develop new projects, and as a result, from 2020 the collective returned to its roots producing recorded projects.
Any new activities will be posted below and on Sideband's Facebook page. Further information about the collective's previous projects can be found in the 'Projects' section of the site.
